I find the question biased. Why add tomorrow? I'm all for Turkey joining the EU, if they meet the set standards on human rights and on social and economical policy. This could be within a few years, or within a few decades...
Why are you all for Turkey joining the EU? They have quite a majority of representatives when they would join the European Parliament. Are you not a bit concerned about possible upcoming problems?
When I go to Turkey I do see the positive aspects of their country, their tourism, their willingness to become European, not all Turkish people share thesame opinions of course.
When Ataturk was head of the country, they were very democratic driven, but now that the new president is leading the country, the Islam has turned into using it the wrong way, to dominate the country and to introduce laws which are against the freedom of religion, against the freedom of equal rights between men and women and against standards on human rights.
